The first time I stepped into a gym, my instructor talked about the need to stay hydrated. It was his very first advice to me. He insisted on it so much; I can almost still hear his voice.

And this is the same advice you get every day from successful athletes and flashy commercials.

However, when it comes to drinks, you can’t afford to get it wrong. You don’t want to just go with the hype.

Go for a drink that supplies your body with electrolytes. And that’s what most of these commercial drinks on the market today lack.

Most of them are full of added sugar and tons of artificial ingredients. In my trials, I stumbled on one product – Ultima Replenisher. What is it? What does it have to offer? Is it worth your money? We have that, and more.

But first, a little introduction won’t hurt, right?

What is Ultima Replenisher?

Ultima is a natural electrolyte powder that prides in being everything the other electrolytes aren’t.

Everything the other electrolytes aren’t? At least that’s what the manufacturer says based on the fact that it is gluten-free, sugar-free, and, most importantly, free of any artificial ingredients.

The product is vegan. And I love its plant-based colors and fruit flavors even more. Lemonade is my favorite!

The product is also carb-free.  This way, absorption is easier and faster.

Having carbohydrates would mean using a whole lot of energy in digesting the same.

By the way, what are electrolytes, and what do they do? My bad. We should have started with that.

What are electrolytes?

Forget about the misinformation out there. And, don’t panic; we won’t use any complex scientific words here.

Electrolytes are minerals with an electrical charge. That wasn’t too hard, right? Moving on swiftly.

So, how do electrolytes work? Remember we said they carry electrical charges? Yes, the charge helps them supply the whole body with electrical charges and signals.

That explains the energy outburst and feelings of hydration you get after drinking electrolytes.

Back to Ultima Replenisher. Should you take it?

Ultima Replenisher Actually Has A Lot To Offer

1.      Keeps you hydrated

The main reason you’d go for an electrolyte in the first place is to stay hydrated. Unlike other commercial products, Ultima actually delivers.

You’ll want to make a bottle of your favorite flavor next time you’re hitting the gym, having a casual evening walk, or just going about your day.

I have a hard time getting hydrated on just plain water. That’s why I rarely go anywhere without a bottle, literally. I carry it to work, to thy gym, and still drink it before I go to bed.

And, I must say it’s doing a pretty good job.

2.      Natural Ingredients

The moment I get my hands on a product, the first thing I check is the ingredients.

I know – Ultima has some pretty boring graphics on its container. You’d still want to look at the ingredients, though.

It has no commercial ingredients, no sweeteners, no artificial additives. Here, we go natural. Yes – that’s how healthy Ultima is.

It’s one of the reasons why I settled for this product

Lots of artificial ingredients not only mess up the taste of a product but can also prove unhealthy.

3.      Gluten-free

Gluten does more harm than it benefits your body.

Consuming gluten is associated with immune reactions inform of bloating, constipation, and diarrhea. You’re also likely to experience fatigue.

In severe cases, gluten causes intestinal damage and celiac disease, according to this review by Harvard University.

Well, I’m allergic to gluten. I just can’t handle the endless episodes of bloating and constipation I experience when I eat anything containing gluten.

So, about any product with gluten, there wasn’t going to be any negotiations. I simply drop it.

You’ve guessed it already – Ultima was made with the user in mind. It’s gluten-free.

4.      Aids weight loss

I didn’t see any big difference in weight on my part. And, just so we’re clear, I wasn’t trying to lose weight.

However, if you’re after shedding some pounds, Ultima Replenisher can be of help.

The basic weight loss principle is – burn more calories than you consume. Well, guess what – the product comes with zero, that’s right, no calories at all.

Successful weight loss also counts on you being properly hydrated, which is Ultima’s ultimate goal – to keep you hydrated.

Did I also mention that the product has zero added sugar, gluten, and carbs? All these are associated with weight gain.

Their absence in the product makes it your go-to option for an electrolyte.

5.      May support muscle growth and recovery recovery

Looking to grow the muscles? Get a leaner, built body, perhaps? Ultima can help with that.

The product comes packed with such ingredients as calcium that’ll help with muscle contraction.

The product is also packed with phosphorus for improved oxygen transport to the muscles and nerves.

What about recovery? Glad you asked. Ultima also comes with Zinc to help your muscles recover after an intense workout session.

I experienced episodes of muscle cramping at the beginning. Until it dawned on me that I was missing out on Pottasium and Sodium.

We are looking at 3000mg Potassium and 5000mg of Sodium daily, which the product doesn’t deliver (Ultima only has about 1000mg Potassium).

To counter this shortage, I mix a quarter teaspoon of ordinary salt and a quarter teaspoon of Morton’s Lite Salt and some lime juice for taste.

I love this Morton’s Lite Salt from Amazon since it contains Sodium from table Salt to make your work easier.

The product definitely has a lot to offer. So, what does it contain?

Ultima Replenisher Ingredients

What’s in the product? Nothing you can’t pronounce. Ultima Replenisher contains;

  • Calcium
  • Magnesium
  • Potassium
  • Phosphorous
  • Manganese
  • Zinc
  • Selenium
  • Sodium
  • Vitamin C
  • Stevia leaf extract
  • Beet juice
  • Grape skin extract
  • Malic acid
  • Citric acid
  • Natural flavors
  • Beta carotene
  • Malic acid
  • Citric acid

Too much, you think? Well, view it as a chance to get all that treasure inside your body. Yes, treasure. Why call it that?

These are natural minerals with tons of health benefits such as muscle growth and recovery, stable blood pressure, and healthy skin.

Others like Vitamin C will go an extra mile to help boost your immunity and enhance metabolism hence aiding weight loss.

What’s more, none of these is toxic to your body.

Now that that is settled, want to know how to consume Ultima?

How to take Ultima Replenisher

This should be simple. Take a scoop of Ultima Replenisher and mix it in a glass of water. I use about 16 ounces of water, to be precise. And voila, your electrolyte is ready.

The next question would, therefore, be…

What Is the Recommended Ultima Replenisher Dosage?

That highly depends on how physically active you get during the day. You wouldn’t need as much as a marathoner when you merely walk to work, right?

For less sedimentary individuals, a scoop of Ultimer daily would be enough.

I take 2 to 5 scoops a day because I engage in intense workouts. I take it first thing when I wake up and before and after working out.

So…

How Does It Taste?

Sorry, I can’t answer that! I know, I promised to tell you everything about this product.

So, here’s the thing. Ultima Replenisher comes in a variety of flavors. I used all of these, and lemonade was my favorite. It’s what I use to date.

I somehow felt raspberry has a weak taste. I also found orange to be too sweet and somewhat sickening.

If I’d miss out on Lemonade, I’d go for either grape or Cherry pomegranate. These have a great taste. And they are not “too sweet”.

The other flavors are;

Let’s make one thing crystal clear, though…

Who should take Ultima Replenisher?

Everybody gets dehydrated at one point or the other. Whether it’s through normal sweating, working out, or just being in a hot environment.

As such, you’ll need an electrolyte. A bottle of Ultima works perfectly for me.

Given its low-calorie count, however, it might not be enough for people going for longer workouts.

When I intend to go hard at the gym, I always add a scoop of Carbo-pro for extra calories. And, the best part is – it’s tasteless and odorless, so it doesn’t affect the taste of my Ultima.

That said, there’ve been cases of insulin reaction with some Ultima users. If you’re diabetic, avoid this product, or use it under the strict guidance of your healthcare provider.

Pros and Cons

What I like:

  • Contains no artificial ingredients
  • It is sugar-free
  • It’s gluten-free
  • Contains zero carbs
  • Comes with zero calories
  • Helps with muscle growth and recovery
  • Aids weight loss
  • It’s keto-friendly

What I don’t like:

  • Mixing it with water can prove messy

Ultima Replenisher Side Effects

Ultima Replenisher is generally safe. However, in rare incidences, some users have reported the following mild side effects;

  • Headaches
  • Stomach upset
  • Digestive problems such as constipation and diarrhea

I didn’t experience any side effects while using the product.

Most of these side effects are often not because of Replenisher, but something different. Just so you are sure, stop using Ultima immediately you experience any of the side effects.

Incase they disappear, you can start using it again. But, this time keep it a little more diluted. And, use it under the strict watch of your doctor.

I especially loved that it’s organic, free of sugar, sweeteners, and other artificial ingredients. This means that whatever you’ll be feeding your body will be free from toxic chemicals.

I was curious if you ever thought of changing the layout of your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
